Mr. Kelvin Chua, Senior Executive Advisor for CEB, now Gartner in Hong Kong, supports members across our organization and advises senior executives on leadership transformation aimed at improving organizational effectiveness and human capital.
Prior to joining us, Kelvin was the Head of Human Resources of AIG with an overall responsibility of their operations in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. In 2011, his department received the AIG Team Achievement Award for outstanding performance. He was also elected as the Chairperson of the Insurance Human Resources Club of Hong Kong for 2014-2015. Before joining the insurance industry, Kelvin worked at a number of leading international management consultancies, serving a broad range of clients in multiple industries and functions.
Kelvin is a Registered Industrial-Organizational Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the Hong Kong Psychological Society. Accredited as a Certified Compensation Professional from the WorldatWork, Kelvin is also an Adjunct Lecturer of Organizational Behavior at the University of Hong Kong.
Kelvin holds a BA in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and went on to graduate from Columbia University where he received an MA in Organizational Psychology. He was sponsored by Aon Hewitt Hong Kong and completed the Human Resource Executive Program at Stanford Business School.
Originally from Singapore, Kelvin has also lived in the United States, Canada, Taiwan and Vietnam, and has been based in Hong Kong since 1997.
